• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2025 Improved Sea to Sky Tires, how are they?

Considering getting a left over 2025 Sea to Sky with the “Improved” tires. Now that they have been out, what is the feeling of them from those in the know?

It is my understanding, and I could be wrong here, that some are getting the new tires, and some are not. This happened a few years ago with the Kenda Kanine for a time. Not sure why. You'd think they would all have the same rubber.

You could be correct, but my mechanic told be that the tires for the 24+ models were new XPS tires were designed to work with the upgrades to the VSS. He also said that they are not backward compatible. If he is correct, I do not think that BRP would ship the new bikes without XPS tires installed. My dealer had ordered a bunch of them before he found out that BRP said the should not be used on '23 and older bikes. He sent most of them back. I do not know if BRP will update the VSS on older bikes to work with the new XPS tires.
