• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

absolute total towing capacity

We towed our trailer with such ease that we are considering trying to pull our Starcraft popup tent camper behind our 2014 RT SE6. I know that I will have to install a brake controller for the trailer and fit some mirror extensions.Has anybody tried this yet? I pulled it around the neighbor hood and it seems o.k. Stopping will require trailer brakes. The thought of A/C and bed off the ground sounds inviting.

They say 400 pounds for a reason...
I would proceed with extreme caution; you wouldn't want the tail to wag the dog! :yikes:

As I see it..!!

careful study would be the way to go. However you will have a place to stay if things start failing...:roflblack: Pulling it around the block is fine but up and down some hills etc may change the picture. Now they do have some little guys you can tow with those comforts...:roflblack:

yeah I know about the tail wagging the dog

I had an Aspen camper and pulled it with a VTX 1800.The trailer was loaded down and no problem. I see Honda Civics and Toyota Corolla's pulling the same camper with 4 people in the car .The power to weight ratio has to better in a 14 Spyder than one of those.I even saw a VW Bus pulling one and they can't pull a sick ***** off a P*** Pot. The camper has brakes and that would be the bigger issue. I pulled a 70 Chevelle on a trailer with a late model El Camino and in the rain there was no such thing as a quick stop until I put a brake controller on and then no problem. We live down here in Florida and the biggest hill is a freeway overpass. I am not talking about rocky mountain towing. Just flat roads to a campground.

You have not answered the biggest questions as asked by Spyderann. What is the tongue weight? What is the total Weight?
