• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What would you do if you needed gas and the seat on my RT would not open? Is there a way to manually access the gas cap?

You CAN rig up an alternative method to access it:

You could use a coat hanger to pull the release on the right side, remove the part from the seat that goes into the latch, put a wire from the latch to somewhere near the front of the seat ( you could do this with the frunk as well ) or get a seat with a gas door or put a gas door on your current seat.

Depends....

Is the latch to the seat broken, stuck, don't have the key. I always carry two keys to avoid the misplaced key issue. I turn the key in both directions in case of a memory lapse, I do the press down pull up if stuck and finally find a wire to release the latch. The secondary pull is a good ideal if this is a common problem but it should not be and may just need some adjustments to make it right...

I always keep an un-chipped dummy-key in the glovebox. It gives me access to where I've hidden the REAL key...

:lecturef_smilie: Removing the seat lock COULD be a problem...

...If you ever planned to use the "unusable" hook under the seat for hanging your helmet. :roflblack:
