• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Antifreeze leak

Hey all, brought the 2014 RTS out for the spring start up. Let it idle for 5-10 mins, check all levels, took it for a spin, about 10 Kms. Got back home and on the driveway was a spot of antifreeze on driveway where I had it idling. So, parked it on another spot on driveway and about 10 mins later another spot appeared under the same location.
Pulled into the garage last nite and this morning no sign of a leak....looks like to the dealer asap.
Any suggestions on where the leak might be originating would be great.

Thanks in advance,
Dan

Not sure..!!

The 14's have a different setup but may still have the adjustable hose clamp on the radiators. If so they are known to be a bit loose and need tightening. Check that the radiator cap is on tight (second detent) and level is good. Other places is the coolant tank itself and the water pump (these are less likely). If you can follow the leak you will have a better idea...

My 2014 RT had 2 hose clamps that would drip a little
Both were non adjustable
I replaced them with adjustable clamps and no more drips

Thanks, will have a look...and keep watch for leaks.
I will post my findings, and I have no idea why my avatar is upside down.

Once you get the leaks fixed it will turn right side up :roflblack:
Easier to see the bottom this way to look for leaks :roflblack:

Well, took the Spyder to work today, no sign of antifreeze leak at all. It had a good run, varied the speeds and rpm both ways all. Temp gauge rose to normal and showed no signs of overheating, so I when I go for my first oil change this spring I will have them have a look.
And look got the avatar right side up, thanks to my wife.
