• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Anyone else getting Bluetooth Fault Detected msg after ACP Upgrade?

After the ACP update, bluetooth no longer works. I get the attached error on my screen about every 5 seconds. I have removed/reset all connections, and disconnected the battery. No luck. Took it to the dealer, they don't know. They opened a case with Can Am. Can Am asked what kind of phone I have, which told me they don't understand the issue. They then told me to reset the connections and disconnect the battery, which I already told them I did. Then they closed the case... LOL. So, I called the dealer and had them reopen the case. Has anyone experienced this issue?

I don't know if this has anything to do with the error. But I do know that with the '24 spiders, your Bluetooth headset must be version 5.0 for ACP to work. And you must give complete control of your phone to the bike for music to play. This is what I ran into. I'm using a Note 20.

That probably explains why I can’t get my Bose QuietComfort 35 II Wireless Bluetooth Headphones to connect to the Spyder?

Correct. Nothing to do with the error. Headset and phone worked with the Spyder. Downloaded ACP update. Bluetooth fault detected. Bluetooth inoperative. Imagine that I move everything that has Bluetooth on it 10 miles from the Spyder. Still, every 5 seconds, "Bluetooth Fault Detected" pops up on display. I am not trying to connect anything. I could care less about ACP. I have an Android phone. ACP update had other improvements that I thought may be beneficial.

Can Am is lucky our lemon law doesn't apply to motorcycles.

Ha! And I also use an Android Samsung Note 20 5G, but this experience will make me think twice about updating the ACP...

Now if someone can post a link to an Android firmware BT 5.0+ update for the Note 20 5 then mebbe??

..... ACP update had other improvements that I thought may be beneficial.

What improvements? Please clarify what you mean? Screen errors?

A few have come into the shop with a problem that we don't have an answer for right away. If you don't know, just say so. Only God knows everything. But how can they close the case when there is no resolution? You paid for a feature, and that feature does not work. It's a no-brainer! Figure it out and fix it, BRP!

Hang in there. Even the Berlin Wall came down. It just took time and perseverance.

Well, if this happened immediately after you did the update, and you’re not trying to pair anything, sure seems like the update got corrupted. The dealer should be able to reflash the update with BUDS2 at the shop. If they don’t know how, that’s why they have direct help from BRP. You might need to find a dealer that cares.

Yes. I believe it is a simple fix once we get past the "What phone are you using?" Dealership called and BRP called yesterday. (BRP read this forum?) Anyway, they are thinking to flash it again. They have to release the update to the dealer or else I could just flash it from home. We'll see. They should include a roll-back function on all their updates.

After 3 trips to the dealer, issue is fixed. BRP released an update to the dealer. After they gave the dealer the correct permissions to download, the update was pushed and my bluetooth works once again. The "bluetooth fault detected" message doesn't display every 5 seconds. I feel better. :)

I get the same error but randomly. Makes no sense just an unsolved buggy problem. Still waiting on latest download to become available, maybe they can kill the bugs in the system.
