• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone installed a Sirius XM radio receiver on their RT? Any hints?

Has anyone installed a Sirius XM receiver/player on their Spyder RT? I would like to install one on my S2S.

Why don't you just add your smartphone to the Sirius plan and Bluetooth to helmet speakers? Might be able to put phone in storage and use data cables to spyder speakers

I have IHeart and SiriusXM apps on my Iphone. They blue tooth nicely to my 2022 S2S, with clear audio. When/where service is spotty, I have a trusty IPod in reserve :)

I also use the XM app on my phone along with Pandora and MP3 files. Bluetooth works great and was easy to set up! One account works everywhere I want it

As others have said, the app should work in most instances.

If you're wanting to use something that doesn't involve the phone, then something like the kit I have linked below should do the trick.
I have used a "portable" kit for years (10+) in various vehicles (currently in my '99 full-sized van), and it's always worked great.

I installed an XM receiver on my '20 RT. I connected the XM's audio out to the AUX IN plug and used the 5v power from the USB plug. I ran the antenna under the tupperware to the back and glued it to the right top (opposite the RT antenna). If it rains, I cover it with a ziplock baggy.

I use a Siriusxm stratus7 on my S2S. Mounted it on top of the glove box door and plugged it in in the glove box. Mounted the antenna on the dash under the windshield. Had to buy a USB cord to power it. They make one specially for xm receivers.

I put an Onyx EZ into the glove box of my `14 RT ..... removed the OEM plug from the rear trunk and stripped it from the harness .... I then ran the cable up the right side ( under tupperware ) and drilled a hole in the right side of glovebox ... mounted ithe plug and made a sheet metal holder for the Onyx..... I have pics of it in an Album .... I don't know how much room you have in your glovebox , so it may or may not fit ..... I can change stations on the fly if I have to ....good luck ...Mike
