• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone use a BreakAway on there spyder? If so which one did you get? I'm looking at adding something like this to my spyder for longer trips.

You need a front brake to use a Brakeaway.

Check out www.throttlemeister.com. Several Spyder owners have that system - works great. I had the Breakaway and it is a class act but takes up too much handlebar real estate for me..

The Breakaway does have a "pushbutton" release but the front brake lever is what makes it release it when you pull on the brake lever.

I have the Kuryakyn ISO Grips and i know someone was able to get the throttlemeister to work on it but i'm not that creative or mechanical anymore lol
