Anyone use (turtle wax) hybrid solution ceramic wax on windshield?

I am looking for real reviews and feedback, not advertisement.

Has anyone used hybrid solutions (turtle wax) ceramic wax on their windshield? It says "safe for poly" on the bottle but reading and experiencing are two different things. I have the original F4 27 inch wide tall (from before the company was sold 3 or 4 years ago) and it has never seen anything but water and Pledge.

It was recommended to me to apply a gel polish finish (a separate product) over my new painted mural and pin striping on my paint to really remove the oxidation and bring out the shine. Then apply 2 coats of a ceramic wax 24 hours apart, preferably the hybrid solutions ceramic wax. Then simply wash and apply a hybrid detailer later when needed. Repeat this process each Spring. I have never seen my metallic paint sparkle so much and it beads beautifully! It’s gorgeous! I’m going to use it on my truck for sure and even on my SXS, snowmobile and trailer.

I am sold on the paste and ceramic hybrid wax combo on the paint. I’d like to try the ceramic wax on windshield but I'm very worried it will hurt the clear finish. Anyone truly used hybrid solutions ceramic wax on a windshield? (plastic not glass) Looking for real experiences.

I am a big fan of Rain-X products, and have used the glass version on my vehicles.

They make a special Rain-X version for plastics, which I'll eventually get a bottle of, even though I hope to never have to ride my Spyder in the rain.

I have used the ceramic versions on a stock and an F4 windshield with no problems. The newer Graphene versions say not to use on plastics and glass, but it works good on the painted surfaces.

I use the spray version TW Hybrid Ceramic on my matte blue S2S. I spray it on microfiber towel and then apply. On my windshield, I use either ammonia free glass cleaner or Rain X for plastics...

Can you say what the gel polish brand recommendation was? I've never used that sort of product, but I have new paint I'd like to protect as well.

Two2three, I used that Cycle Care product. You commented on it my last post about a month ago. Be aware though, Cycle Care is closing shop! Unless you can find someone that already has it on their shelf, they have no more #33. I used the Cycle Care #3 as the base. It was recommended to me by “another” detailer to use the hybrid ceramic wax over the top to replace the #33. I received one bottle of #3. It’s a creamy paste like gel. Be aware that Cycle Care is no longer taking orders online or answering their phones though. So I am hoping my #3 bottle lasts for 2 more years and I can simply apply the ceramic wax and detailer as the topcoats. I was very skeptical of the Cycle Care product at first, but boy did it bring out the color like I have never seen before. Good stuff, but again, they are closing shop.

Ah, didn't make the connection. Thanks!

I use the Turtlewax Hybrid stuff on everything! The polish/wax on the paint. The detailer on the paint, glass, and rubber after every wash. The carwash to keep it going and not strip the coating. It seems to attract dust a little more, but the bags wash right off, and the dirt sheets off with just a hose spray. Even the wet mud won't stick to my Jeep!

It may not be the best product, but it does a nice job, price is right, and it's easy to find.
