Ok so we started our trip on the first of July 4 days in blew a trailer light module got it fixed at the dealer five days later blew another we'll come to find out not only the 2014 trailers are having problem the 2013 also need the new grounded trailer harness just to give you all a hads up hope this will work we still have 14 days left to get home

Not good..!!

This is not speaking well for the brp trailers. With Murphybrowns tire issue all the wiring hassels these trailers seem to need to re-study. It has always amazed me that they have trailers that only work with certain years. Not hard folks..running lights, brake lights and turn signals. Why do they complicate it with different plugs and adapters new grounded harnesses etc. Jmo...:dontknow:

What is this grounded trailer harness I keep hearing about? Is it different than the harness that comes with the hitch and how does
it work?

Going to the dealer now to pick up the bike will post a pic of what I see

Ok just picked up the bike and trailer spoke with the tech he was great at loves motor sports all 2013 trailers must have this harness installed or you will blow your module the BRP kit # 219400537 this should have been done before I picked up the trailer I will deal with the dealer when I get home well here is a picture of the updated harness The harness goes from the trail younger to the front frame of the trailer where they ground it and all so had to get a new updated module
