• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can a Spyder RT be trailered by uhaul 6x12 trailer with ramp??

if the 6x12' is inside of trailer ...yes.....I would measure inside of trailer and dimension of Spyder...too be safe

You will need to check angle of ramp ! If to steep nose won't clear. I rase the front and use two small ramps to clear front end ):

NONONONONONONONONONONON. Just tried to put my RS on one. The inside is plenty big but the gate is not 6' wide it is only five feet wide. Scraped the hell outta my rims getting it on sideways. NO WAY an RT fits thru the gate. Save yourself the trouble and don't rent that trailer.

Just check your rear opening width; it it's about 65", you're good to go!
(After taking into account your ramp angles...)

No, it won't fit past the gate/ramp.

:agree: We had the unfortunate experience with this same trailer. We didn't know that the RT would not fit...according to the sales rep, we were assured that it would. Boy, were we surprised when we showed up to pick up the trailer!!! We don't have to worry about that any more...wifey bought me a brand new 7X12 fully-enclosed trailer. Yep, I'll be on my best behavior for a long time now!!:roflblack:

U-Haul trailer

A 6X12 ope3n trailer might work. Outsie of front tire to outside of front tire would still need to be measured.

A u-haul 6x12 trailer ramp is only 4' 9" wide. I checked on this when I went to pick up my wife's Spyder when we bought it last year.

Nope. I learned this the hard way as well. I use my 8' x 10' snowmobile trailer for the Spyder. Only problem is when you tilt the bed it's too steep and the nose hits. I have to use ramps to load it.

Most of the U-Haul six foot trailers have a narrower opening at the ramp, so they won't work. A few are OK. Measure at your local U-Haul supplier to be sure. If you rent out of town, have them certify the actual ramp opening before you rent.

There you go...!!

I think they have you covered. Looks like some calculations are in order or finding a different trailer...!
