• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

"Clunking" sound.

Hello to all from sunny South Africa. After a 150Km ride this morning, whilst pushing my 2009 RS into the garage with the motor cooled down and not running I noticed a loud clunk from somewhere in the bowels of the machine. Only "clunks" once when changing direction. I.E. When pushing forward "clunk" when pushing backwards "clunk". Items checked and excluded as the origin of the sound are wheels, suspension, brakes (front and back), sway bar and steering. The sound comes from the middle of the bike and it is very hard to pinpoint the exact point of origin. I am going to take the panels off through the week to see what I can find but would appreciate any assistance from those who may have come across this issue before.
Ride safe.

Not really much information. If you're hearing a clunk with the transmission in neutral I'm not sure what it would be. Just a wild guess but you might check your counter shaft sprocket.

Check brakes, linkages and wheel bearings, check for a stone in the belt or drive sprocket.
