• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Customer accessory power connections on F3?

I read the owners manual. It states there are 3 customer power access points for accessories on the F3. I found the one under the passenger seat. There is supposed to be one under the left lateral access panel. Neither I nor the BRP guy at the fairgrounds could find it. Any ideas where they strapped it down?

There is also supposed to be one up front for use in installing a power point in the frunk. I have not REALLY looked for that one but its not obvious. Where is it?

It's there...

Took me forever too. It's wrapped in black tape (small diameter wire), and it's tie clipped to a large conduit of cables wrapped in the same black tape. It's not visible to the eye, but there is a black tie clip (holding the large and the small together) that if you clip off, frees the accessory cable which has a label (which is of course hidden until to cut the tie clip.)

I agree - that was one tough cable to find. It's taped up all the way to the ends of the two wires, each of which has a plastic cap crimped on. Definitely not as convenient as the one under the passenger seat.

Thanks guys, I give it another look when I get home from Spyderfest. Gonna travel with a paper map going home! Wish me luck.
