Just wondering if different regions have better pricing on the rt's.The list price on mine was 28,899 dealer gave me 1500.00 of list with 2 helments.deal or no deal

My 2012 RT Ltd listed for $28,999, cash price ( no helmets ). $26,500.00. Cochran Motor Sports in Pine Bluff, AR. (we bought two so maybe that was a factor in the 26,500)

It always helps if you can walk into the dealers with a darn good idea of what your options are... Get a bunch of prices; pare that list down, go to your favorite guy ahd say, "But I can get it for $XX,XXX here!" Give them a chance to match it, or find a reason in his shop to make the price difference worth it...

I had a quote on a new 2012 RS-S SE5 for $17,100 including the dealer crap (freight/prep, etc). ($19,599 MSRP)

A little different take here. Since you have already purchased the RT--in managerial accounting and economics they refer to this as a "sunk" cost. I look at pricing as only a part of the deal. You can spend hours and days looking all over the country for a "better" deal. If you decide to purchase from far away, then you have the logistics of picking up or getting the RT delivered to your area. Then you have the issue of, will my current dealer give me as good a service as if I purchased the vehicle there?

IMO: the purchase of a :ani29: should be a combination of price and service--that is what makes for a happy ownership experience.

I could have bought my :spyder2: for a little less elswhere, but when I want service on the :ani29:, they take care of me now.

Hope this makes you feel a little better about the price you paid.
