• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Don't cut the cable to mount a Zumo 595 LM! See this site instead!

I found this website that was really helpful for my problem:

I found the Torx screws to be T5's.

I purchased a Zumo 595 LM and the 590 motorcycle mount for it and wanted to install it on my handle bars over the black cap cover. The design of the 590 mount has a 3/8 cable from the mounting plate, that expands to a triangle block with six wires and is to big to feed into the small black cap hole. I cut the cable (dumbest move ever) thinking I could splice it into a connector setup. After destroying that 590 mount I used it to fix my problem (just wish I would have found this website first, it had all the information I needed (it was very detailed and helpful). After reading it, I followed the instructions and was able to feed the cable from the bottom up to the black cap hole and install the 590 mount on to the Can-Am OEM GPS Support Spyder RT 219400322 Garmin Zumo 660 Chrome. I did it this way to save the handle bars space for my La monster cuffs with water bottle and large X grip.

I hope this helps someone to not make the same mistake!
