Had my 600 mile service done last week. Picked up bike but did not make it home. Numerious faults including DPS, Check engine and EP something. In addition to the regular 600 mile service they installed new chrome handlebars and did some kind of a throtle up grade. Faults appear to have something to do with brakes. Any help would be helpful

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

About this "explanation": how long have one to "ride the brakes"? 1-2-10 min or longer? Just a touch? The brake light are on?

I don't know what the "time-out" period is. It is certainly not a normal touch. What happens is that the Spyder senses the brake light on, but no brake pressure, so all VSS related functions can fault. The warnings don't seem to be consistent, so there may be different degrees, depending on how long, how often, and other conditions. There certainly can be other reasons, but this is a common one.About this "explanation": how long have one to "ride the brakes"? 1-2-10 min or longer? Just a touch? The brake light are on?
