• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ENGINE BOGGS DOWN....RPMS GO UP....

We left one of our 2014 RT Limiteds with dealer Saturday afternoon. We have 700 miles on it. It does not do it all the time but it will bogg down and rpms jump up and then it will take off again....It actually chirped the rear tire once when it took back off. Has anyone experienced this and what do you guys expect the problem to be....The second RT has never had this happen.....It does happen more at interstate or at least highway speeds....Thanks for any input

These new "six-speeders", have a different clutch engagement and lockup system...
I think that the old system was smoother, but mine hasn't done what yours is doing.
Give your dealer a call, and good luck!

Don't know..!!

used to have this happen in bikes with accumulated moisture in the carb. As water beads formed they got sucked up and the engine died momentaraly. Being fuel injected could be bad gas but then you ryde and fuel at the same places. Leaves an electrcal problem perhaps coils or plug wires..let us know what they find..

I would guess you have a clutch problem. The engine is not bogging down, but the bike is slowing down and the RPM's go up, then the clutch reengages and and away you go.
