• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Enjoyed a nice ride today.

Sadly passed away, December '23.
The weather this past week has been terrible. Cold with rain some days and snow the next, sometimes both on the same day. Let's not forget the hail. Today it was cloudy, windy and running about 40° but no rain or snow, so I decided lets go for it. A quick 100 mile jaunt to the bank for laundry money. I needed that...... :)

I need the weather to warm up so that I could ride.

Because if my bike stays in the garage for too long, I'll be tempted to break out my credit card and add more farkles/mods, LOL.

Way to go.

Reminds me of the 100 mile trips to the mail box down the road when I lived in Alaska.

100 miles

:chat:...Just reminds me of the time I went on a Saturday afternoon Pizza investigation Ryde. Some friends were taking about a hole-in-the-wall Pizza joint.
Oh man that was some good Pizza. ...

It's was closed during covid-19.
Not going to open up because the owners decided to retire.....:banghead:

Where in AK did you live ??

I did an assignment in Anchorage when I was an X-ray/CT traveler. It was one of the best assignments, and I ended up extending for ONE YEAR !!

Eagle River and Chugiak. Both just North of Anchoraqe.

I know where Eagle River is. That was where my boss was living at the time.

AK was definitely so unique in terms of roads. There's really not many roads in a state that takes up almost 25% of the landmass of the continental United States. Even dinky RI has more roads, lol.
