F3 vs. <insert bike> shootout

I would like to see some head on comparisons with bikes similar to the F3. The Honda Valkyrie comes to mind as well as the Suzuki 109r. There are also other hefty power cruisers that could be compared.

Here is the Honda vs. a Ducati, which I think is an apples vs. oranges test since the Ducati is only 500 lbs to the Honda's 700 lbs.

Here is the Suzuki, it weights 760 lbs. I understand it can do a 1/4 mile in around 12.5 sec.

Like you said...

apples to oranges...three wheels vs two they did a shootout with the F3, slingshot and the morgan which is the same problem. Autocycles (cars) vs trikes/reverse trikes. Lets face it we are in an area everyone wants to get into but bring the wrong equipment...:roflblack:

The third wheel is the only difference. The styling, dimentions, weight, performance, and target market are all simular.

I am thinking there are a couple current/former 109 owners that will tell you they can blow the doors off the :ani29:.

I am not into speed comparisons, so will leave the technical to others.

:agree: I have owned 2 M109's, and I would not compare them with the F3. I have only ridden 1 F3, and that was Lamont's. I was very impressed with the F3, but don't think it is fair to compare it to a 2 wheeled bike. But, if I had to pick one, I would have to go for the M109 (sorry)

the only thing to fairly compare it to is other reverse trikes, there are kits for the goldwing to make it a reverse trike, that would be a good comparison

The Honda Valkyrie comes to mind as well as the Suzuki 109r.

I traded my (GL1800C) Valkyrie in March of this year. I loved that bike and it was the most comfortable motorcycle I ever owned. It was faster in every way compared to my F3-S but I like my F3-S even more. If I want to go crazy fast I will buy a tool specifically for that job. I would have never considered a regular spyder so I guess I fit the target audience for the F3. I am not sure how much information I can provide comparing the Valkyrie to the F3 but if you have specific questions I can try to answer them. FWIW, in cruiser-style bikes, I have had a Fury, a (GL1800C) Valkyrie and two VTX1800Ns.
