• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Favorite Helmets for Ryker Riding

Anyone have any favorite helmets when riding your Ryker?

For longer rides, I typically use my HJC RPHA 70 ST (https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/hjc-rpha-70-st-grandal-helmet). Great helmet, pretty quiet, good airflow and absolutely love the flip down internal visor.

Around town, short trips etc I rock the Bell Rogue (https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/bell-rogue-helmet). Its a bit of an entertaining piece of kit but fun.

Considering selling the Rogue and moving to a Scorpion Covert to gain the integrated visor.

We are Nolan users. I have eight assorted. Three or so, early full face. The rest modular style.

I am looking at the Covert as well. I like the idea of being able to change it to a full face in a rain storm or 3/4 on sunny days.

I'm with akspyderman. I wear a Nolan N100-5; it is the only helmet I have. I have been wearing Nolan modulars for 20 years. I like the metal chin-bar latch and quick-connect chin strap.

Have to go with the modular of your choice for any open motorized vehicle. May not be the best closed or open but I don't have to go home to change it or take it off to have a conversation....currently HJC...

Anything that will protect your head from smashing into something hard like the ground..
Not meaning to sound like a smart ass, use a good helmet DOT approved Full face is best
Modular is very good, open face not as good and the 1/2 helmets are nice don't afford much protection...
ONLY MY Opinion.....

The fit of the helmet is the first thing to consider. If it's not comfortable you won't want to wear it. Having a large round head limits my choices but currently an HJC IS Max II modular 3X.
