• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fleas and Ticks

I know a lot of us on here own dogs. Mine just tested positive for Lyme disease this week. He has no symptoms, and according to the vet, 90% of the dogs that have it show no symptoms. Rocky had to go for his annual appointment, and they did the blood work. It came out a "very weak positive" for lyme. The numbers were weak enough that the vet made the lab test his blood again!! He'll be just fine. He's on antibiotics and a new preventative specifically for ticks and fleas.

Just letting folks out there know so they can be prepared!!! I live in Toledo, OH, and they said this year is going to be horrible for fleas and ticks because of the mild winter in this area. They also said it does not matter if you take your dog into a wooded area or not. Ticks are all over the place and your dog can get them in your own yard!!

I use Sorento flea and tick collars on my three furry family members. The dogs use em too. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Doctor says-----

I have a friend who is a DO and he believes everyone has Lymes.( I don't believe that and I won't let him touch me) Living at almost 6,000 ft---no ticks, fleas, rattlesnakes. Thank G@d.
My Dane ( Kaos ) only gets fleas when my sister come up from SF Bay area

Ticks, fleas, and rattlesnakes cause: Kaos

PS:
