• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Raingear? I like TourMaster's one-piece suits. I've owned four of them in 40 years, and never gotten wet while in one of them.
Folding chairs: I can't help you with that one; happy hunting! :D

Kermit Chair for motorcycles. They are advertised in all things BMW motorcycles. Quality product that folds up in a neat little package. Google it also.

Well....

Frogg toggs seem to be mentioned quite a bit :agree: as well. As for the chair, Google it and there are many one closed was 23"x3"x3" will it fit..:dontknow:

We have a pair of the original Kermit chairs, and they won't fit in the storage compartments of a Spyder. :banghead:
But they ARE pretty neat!
(We bought them 30 years ago at the Americade convention...)

Helinox Chair

I have seen these on a few of the motorcycle camping videos. Look nice, but have not tried one. I just use a small Coleman camp stool.

Thanks Jack. That was the one I was trying to think of. They are supposed to be pretty good.

check out REI's folding chairs. They have them compact enough for backpacking.

D,
They're a really well-made chair. Mine still look like new after about 30 years!
But they do sit you down pretty close to the ground; climbing up out of them might be an issue.

They make attachable leg extensions that set like a regular chair
