• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When you flip the switch on this glo ryder light and turn them on. Do you remove the dust cap everytime you turn them off?

The have three settings, always on, always off, and the third setting is controlled by light and movement, they will come on at night when the bike is moving and will shut off when movement stops or when it is daylight. Three settings on the switch.

Hope this helps.

3 switch positions:

OFF
SHO - on all the time (for use when you're sho'ing the Spyder)
GLO - on only when rolling in the dark

Put the switch in GLO and they'll work the way you want without having to make any other changes. Note that they will come on in your garage if even when the garage lights are on. The light sensor seems to only recognize sunlight. Not to worry because when you stop, they'll only stay on for a minute or two. Both the light sensor and motion sensor must be activated to turn the lights on.

You're gonna love them!

Mark,
Thanks for that clarification. I was wondering if, when I get them, I'd need to shut them off at nighttime so that my garage doesn't glow...
Motion is the key!
