I am looking at putting in a GPS on my 2013 RT. Do not want to pay the 700.00 for the cam am version looking to buy a 50.00 one and wire myself any ideas?

I did that on my 09 and it worked OK. In the rain, cover with plastic bag or put it away. The biggest problem is, it is hard to hear turn by turn directions. I did not use it often that way, but when I did it was a minor problem. Figure where and how you want to mount it and put in a switched power plug. Not a real hard DIY project.

How often you will use it. Iuse the same model that I use in my car. On the roadster I hardly ever use it so I have the ram mount with a cable running down to the power outlet. When needed I plug it in and hook it up....:thumbup:

I have this water proof GPS on my 2015 TR-s se6. I would buy it again in heartbeat, but it's currently not available.
Other options are called the Rage. It has very bad reviews on Amazon. Most reviews are not accurate. I had two Rage GPS, exchanged on under warranty.
Make certian any Rage has Noth American maps. If you do buy one of the Rage get it through Mamzon and consider getting a Square Trade insurance policy. If it fail while insured you get all your money back. Just a simple phone call, pre paid mailing lable and BOOM, instant credit back to my Amazon account
