• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Handlebar wind deflectors

Those are a bit bulky. Is there something smaller and more discreet?

Can I add Can Am brand heated grips? Would it be very expensive to install?

Would it be very expensive to install? :dontknow::dontknow::dontknow: If you do it yourself you can add the grips from BRP without breaking the bank.......and the grip SHIELDS were recently done here....However they were DISCREET and the OP dis-covered they didn't do much......Mike

:agree: If you're looking to fight a cold wind; "Discreet" isn't what you need... nojoke

Given the choice of looking good, or keeping warm; I'd much rather be warm! :D

Well.... there IS a limit to that statement. IMHO, Hippo Hands just might surpass that limit.

There are other brands out there; I just grabbed that one because of my familiarity with them... :D

We have heated grips on both our F3's and they work great. Install is about a 7 out of 10 to install. Not a fun job.

The least expensive way to solve the problem is to just buy a very good pair of winter motorcycle gloves, with large cuffs that cover your wrists and jacket sleeves. Many come with separate knit or fleece linings. HERE is a good place to start looking. I've owned several pair of Olympia motorcycle gloves over the years, and found them to really do the job for me. (Used to ride often in the winter with no heated grips.) Also heated gloves may be a viable alternative, for those willing to trade the warmth for the hassle of wires and plugs.

We have our Air Wings for the F3. Please review them on our website. They will help with cold air and rain as well as bring you relief in hot weather.
They might not help with your hands but you and your passenger sure will be happy with the rest of you from your feet to your head.
Thanks, Mike

Here are mine I just installed this weekend. Plenty of room for your hands to work the controls. 1 screw install. Work great!

F3 handlebar

I came upon this thread with the same idea as Rogue Hawk.

It's an old thread but no one has yet answered to what the diameter of the stock F3 handle bars are...

Anyone?
