• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I know many of you have posted about the importance of being visible, but I still really like the designs of the many dark-tone paint jobs I've seen.

Now that I sold my Suzuki Katana (just a few hours ago!) I can put a couple dollars into Silver #2929 again.

One of my favorite "dark" Spyders is the project bike from Pioneer Motorsports which we saw on the Homecoming ryde:

I know several of us have copied Lamonster's black widow footpeg idea, and I think the smoke headlight covers on the Pioneer Spyder are a classic look as well.

I contacted Chad at Pioneer who has the covers in stock. He told me they just go on with velcro and they haven't had an issue with the mounting in over a couple thousand miles.

They might be considered pricey by some at $100 +s/h, but I just love that look, especially on my path to replace all silver parts with shades of blackness! :doorag: :spyder:
