• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New here

Hi Thanks for accepting me.
At the moment I am looking at the pros and cons of Can Am ownership. There are very few dealers in the UK, so I have to check on reliability etc.
I am an ex Harley rider, having recently broken my right foot in many places and retired from biking.
My good lady says I have to ride/drive only tin boxes from now on, but......! I will work on her, somehow. She says, that at the age of 72 I should not be worrying her any more, but after 55 years of riding motorcycles, it takes some getting out of the system.
I would like an F3, but they are very expensive over here. As her ladyship no longer rides pillion anyway, I suppose a Ryker would be okay and would be half the price of an F3.
We will see what happens, meanwhile I will keep an eye on what is happening in the world of Can Am.

Welcome to the forum Ronecc. I hope you enjoy it. You can find lots of good information here on the different models of Spyders and Rykers in the different areas of the forum. I will tell you that riding a Spyder or Ryker is not like riding a two wheeler and will take some getting use to; but once you get use to 3 wheels you will love it and wish you had done it a long time ago. At 72 you are way to young to give up wind therapy, in fact it may be just what you and the wife need from time to time not to mention a stop for some Ice Cream. The F3 and RT are great for two up riding with the power steering etc. Good Luck with your research, I hope to see you around the forum soon. :2thumbs:
