• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello to all, new Spyder owner in NE Florida here

Well hello to all
After years of admiring these from a distance we finally bought one.
Its a 2014 Spyder RT and only had it for 5 days so far and no long trips.
In fact still working out all the details and controls...lol
Only item I have found that has me stumped for now is the L/H saddlebag does not open from the latch at the rear.
The R/H and the trunk work as they should.
When I pull the latch for the L/H there does not feel to be any cable action or tension so not sure what the next move will be on that.
Did not see a way to attach a picture of our new toy so.....

Welcome to the forum Thehammer2021. I hope you enjoy it. :congrats: On the new to you 2014 Spyder RT. You can find lots of good information here on the Spyder RT in the different areas of the forum. When you see your name turn blue you will be able to post in the other areas of the forum. So at that point you should repost your question in The Spyder RT Touring area of the forum and someone there I'm sure will explain to you how to adjust cable to latch for the left side bag. Not many if any members will see your question here in this area. Make sure and post a photo of your new ride in the Spyder Garage area when you are able to. I hope to see you around the forum soon.
