Hoo?

Found this little guy in the middle of the road Thursday morning. Think he might have been hit. Put him in my truck and drove about 4 miles. He decided he was ready to go, so stopped and let him out. Never made any attempt to bite me, so guess he must have just been stunned.

He doesn't exactly look happy... His eyes look a bit "off"; I hope that he recovers fully!

He left me some remembrance of him in my truck. When I opened the door he flew about 6 feet and landed in the driveway. I went over and stroked his head and back. He turned away and did a low level circuit over a wheat field and landed on a mail box. Two mockingbirds immediately jumped him. He got tired of them and flew off to a tree about 200 yards away. These guys are solitary birds and I figure he can find his way back to where I found him.
