• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How to get CEL codes on 2020 RT

Need to check CEL codes for a light that just came on. I have seen several procedures but none have worked on my bike. Checked oil, water, cleaned battery terminals after load testing the battery.

It'd really help us a LOT if we knew what year & model your Spyder/Ryker actually is?!

There's not a wide range of options, but there are a few different methods dependant upon the year/model of your Spyder &/or Ryker, so it's important for us to know in order to help, which requires you to tell us. That's why we have asked that everyone add their Spyder/Ryker year/model detail to their sig line in this Sticky:

The earlier posts in that Sticky thread describe how to add this info on the old platform, but I think one easy method for doing so on this current platform is described in about post #129 on page #7. Check it out please, only do post up and tell us here too; but then, to save yourself from the need to provide that info in pretty much every post you ever put up asking a question, and also in most posts you make supplying an answer, it'll help you and everybody else heaps if you add that info to your signature. 😉

Thanks. (y)

For 2020+ Spyders, Cptjam says it all here:

Press joystick. Right click. Scroll down. Right click on codes. Faults appear. Then you need the BRP to English translation from Spydercodes. Or, your service manual has them listed. Call me tomorrow if you need help. Joe

You can always search for whatever codes you find that way ^ directly on the Forum (top right of the page, just enter the initial alpha character followed by the 4 alpha/numerics; tick the 'Search titles only' box; submit the search; and read away!) or if you feel the need, you can always try to contact Joe. Just click on the username bit in the quote above if you want to see the original post, and if you look at his post &/or click on his avatar, you'll see all his details. I believe he is on the road with the Demo Tours atm, but I'm sure he'll get back to you as soon as he can. Very knowledgeable and helpful guy! (y)

Good Luck.
