• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am certain that SpyderQuest is going to be.............well, let's just say EPIC!!!!! Here are several reasons why:

1) It will be my first ever spyder rally
2) There are gonna be so many infamous spyder ryders for me to meet such as Lamonster, Mike (the Vermont chef), and Teddy and his chauffeur,
and Bob (again but we were pretty much all business last time)
3) The BBQ is gonna have two of my specialties, hand made by me: Pasta Salad, and Chocolate Chip cookies
4) More time spent with some of the most dedicated spyder ryders in the Northeast (Randy, Ron, Chuck, et al)
5) Whiteface Mountain, Fort Ticonderoga, the casino ride, and the dinner boat cruise.
6) Two words: Farkle Bingo
7) And, six strait days off, spent with my wife and the mistress.

Can't wait to see you all there!!!!

To me, it's the calm before the invasion. Today I will be getting my last detail shipped in and I will be bringing my office (toy hauler) home to get prepared for Lake George. Then I will be in a holding pattern thinking of what I might have missed. Look forward to seeing everyone. Ron

Unfortunately there are several obligations that keep me from this event, I hope next year I will be able to attend.
I hope everyone has an uneventful, yet fun and raucous time.
 
the time spent and the friendships started are all a great part of putting this puzzle together. sooooo looking forward to this event!! wished you all could come. but for those that do---pray for good weather!!! see you all at lake george!!:thumbup:

I hope you have as much fun as we did that year at Lake Placid. Joe and I still disagree on whether or not the yellow road signs with numbers are suggestions or speed limits. If Stan the Man goes please tell him hi for us.

I think it's the same in NY as in VT......the yellow ones are recomended safe maximums .....it's the white ones with black numbers & edges that will BITE you...:yikes:.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:.....Mike
