There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Review: IKON shock review

Ordered, received, and installed my new IKON shocks on my 2021 RT. Thieir website does not list 2020+RT, so I ordered front shocks for a 2016RT because I already knew they would fit. I have installed the ELKAs from my 2014 RT on the 2021 RT. Got to test ride the Spyder today and these shocks are great! A bargain at $599!!! Took about a month to receive them from Australia, but worth the wait! Install is super easy. The hardest part is always figuring out where to jack up the spyder. The bolts are much easier to reach on the 2020+RTs after removing the front side panels. These shocks also have a tool-less dial for adjusting the dampening. They come from the factory set at 1, which is very bouncey. I set mine at 3 for a smooth ride. I highly recommend these shocks. Great price. Great quality. Personalized service too!

I used to use their shocks when I think they were another company in a former life. I think they used to be called Koni and were famous for their "Dial-a-Rides" with a red damping adjuster wheel at the top of the shocks. I used to use them on an air-cooled BMW R100 and a Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans II. They were very decent shocks in their day, much better than the OEM shocks even on decent European motorcycles of the time. We're back in the 1980's now. I think I had them on a Rickman Kawasaki CRE too and that handled really well.

If I remember correctly, Koni was based in Holland and Ikon was their Australian distributor that took over production when Koni stopped production of them to concentrate on automobile shock production. They were always decent quality and fully re-buildable. The aftermarket shock of choice for replacing the usually pretty rubbish shocks on stock Japanese machines too, back then.

If the Ikon shocks are anything like the Konis of old I think they would probably make a decent choice for a bike like the RT LTD. In fact I think I'll order a pair, $599 seems a very reasonable price if they are still a quality product.

Just out of interest, Joel, what did shipping cost from Aus to US? I highly recommend the Ikons. I have had front and rear on mine for a few weeks now

Pete

shipping was only $25

Wow……that is excellent, Joel. It cost me $85usd to get a dash pouch and sway bar links shipped from Lamonster out here (that’s not a criticism of Lamonster, shipping prices from the US have just gone crazy)

Pete

Shipping prices world wide, are just crazy, infact from USA to the Netherlands, prices increased by 1000%.... How do I explain to my customers, that I need to raise prices.... end of rant
