• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Installed my Kuryakyn heavy Industries mirrors/Mirror extenders to get a better rearward view

Last week, after installing my Lamonster 2" riser block + Helibars, I did some further putzing. I elongated the pin hole on the bars so I could push the bars a bit more forward. This was quite comfy. But, checking my mirrors I saw that in this position, the handlebar controls completely blocked the view to my mirrors. NO worries, as I had this happen on my past F3S. Sooo... back to my Spyder parts box. I dug out my Kuryakyn Heavy Industries mirrors/Amazon mirror extenders, and attached them to my Lamonster Top Cuffs. Perfect!! Complete view to the rear. I angled my OEM mirrors fully down/in, so that if I do bring my bars back towards me, the OEM mirrors will be effective blind spot mirrors :)

And the aftermarket to the rescue again. Ain't it great.
With just the Helibars installed, I found the OEM mirror placement to be perfectly fine. It was only after I added the 2" riser block, and rotated the bars fully forward with elongated holes, that the controls on the bars were right smack dab in the line of sight of the mirrors. Rotate the bars back a bit and all is well. It was the aftermarket item's install that required aftermarket item adjustments :)

I have a set of Heli bars on my 2023 Can-Am RT Limited. I also have a one and a half inch riser block, but I never thought about putting it on with the bars. I may have to try that out this weekend.
