• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is canam-partsstore Reputable?

Is this www.canam-partsstore.com a reputable parts store? They seem to have decent prices. Was wondering if anyone on this forum has any previous buying experience.

Looking to find a passenger backrest for my 2014 Can-Am Spyder RT SE6.

Yes I have ordered from them, fast delivery!! I just got some parts for a friend of mine last week!

I ordered from them recently BAD EXPERIENCE! They "couldn't process PayPal" and suggested Apple Pay, after placing the order with Apple Pay I received a text stating I needed to purchase "shipping insurance" of $150.60, then after shipment(not certain it was ever shipped), I received another text stating
I needed to pay "Custom Fees" of $200. Tried to cancel order and get refund, NO Response from Canam-Partsstore. Currently disputing charges with my bank. I would recommend AVOID this vendor.

**update** They have now asked me to send further fees by Apple Gift card......SCAM!!!!!
Shipping Company is www.filexline.com

Hmmm...I did a Whois lookup on canam-partsstore.com to see where they were located.

The odd thing about it is that the address in the Whois database is a rural location in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA but the telephone number is an 856 area code, which is Southern New Jersey, USA about 800 miles from Murfreesboro.

And the first recorded registration for canam-partsstore.com is September 12, 2024, so it was created less than 6 months ago.

I think I smell a scam site.

Unless things have changed, I have never had troubles with them, got some parts for a friend this fall, less than a week had them in my hand!!

I still can't get the website to load on my computer. Are you able to get to their website?

Do not EVER deal with someone who wants to charge you extra for shipping fees or customs. It is a total scam. I got bit on this, don't you get bit too.

The 2 addresses for this site in thread are spelled different. From the one that's a scam and the other site that the guy had good service from. Exact spelling is a must if you go to a site. One wrong letter and you don't know where your at.

Hmm...I must be missing something, as all of the URLs I see that have a hyphen in the middle of the name are the same.

Can you share the two variations you're talking about?

Thanks!

Okay, I guess I'm still confused.

The thread was started with a question about this URL:

Which is a completely different URL than the one you just posted:

The guy asked if I could open and get on the site, he couldn't! Guess I don't know where you're going with this!

Your response in post #2 of this thread was that you had recently ordered from them and received your order.

Which site did you order from?

One address has 2 'ss'. The good site has only 1 s in the middle of the address. 'partsstore' = bad; 'partstore' = good. I didn't try to go to either site. Just saying that one has 2 s in name. But then there are other sites being talked about that are not even close to the op.

I don't know, I'm confused
