Isn't the RT (front trunk) larger than the RS trunk?

I'm thinking of ordering this bag/trunk liner and was wondering about the size difference and the bag being the same for both.

The RS & RT "Frunks" are NOT the same size

There is a slight difference in size, not positive, but I think you are correct, that the RT "Frunk" IS larger :thumbup:

RT trunk is shorter front to back, and deeper.

For a soft bag like you post, I don't think there would be any significant difference.

If you buy the hard bag with wheels, you have to get the right one. The RS bag is different than the RT.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong, and I'm CERTAIN I'll be corrected.

I had both bikes and the frunk on the RS took my bag with wheels without problems BUT I can't get that bag into the frunk on my RT-S. They are diff in size. Any bags you get should be for either your RS or your RT. They don't swap.

:agree:..........the bag that I had for my RS will not fit into the RT "Frunk", the bag is to big.:gaah: Since I have an RT Ltd., it came with the soft bags so I don't have a problem. I did keep the RS bag since I have the RT-622 trailer so I can still use it.:2thumbs:

I received the Bestem Frunk bag and I have to say that the quality so far is excellent. I packed 5 pairs of jeans and 5 shirts and still had some more room left. It fits my frunk and I have the BRP liner, it is tight, but it's soft so it can mold to the area. There is room left above the top of the bag after it is in the frunk I was thinking about getting their side bag liners as well, but haven't yet. The thing I liked about their side bag liners is that the one for the left side bag is made to fit all the bag even the smaller recessed area.

Thanks for the heads up. I did order the trunk bag earlier today for my GS/RS. I also ordered (previously) the Bestem bag for my GIVI V46 top case which will be here Monday.

i have an 08 rs.
i use a bag from the cracker barrell and it fits perfect. been on 6 day trips and it fits everything i need.
i use a lightweight shirt and wash it out in the sink everynight. cost $0.00
