J&M Headsets W/BRP CB & Communication System

Has anyone used this combination and had success ? I can get Radio thru headsets but no voice activation. Thanks.

Look at your VOX setting and other settings.

Go to the CB screen and move the cursor to the far right for the VOX setting. Press the "Set" button and adjust the slider bar up to increase the voice ativation. I find that just above the middle works well.

Our CB Comm cant hear one or the other.

We have all the coomunication set up on our spyder- cb, headset communication, GPS package, satellite radio...the works but very often we go for months not being able to speak to one another because eith driver or passenger cannot hear what was said. Dealer has no idea.....second time set replacement. Doing it again. Thx ??:chat:

Do you have thr right mike ?
I had a handle bar mounted CB on my ST1100. I added the BRP radio/cb unit to my RT. Serria Electronics added the mke and speakers in my helmet. They said, I needed a "power mike", the old one would not work. I am not sure of the term for the new one.

Have had 2 J & M 279 7 pin Headsets in use for 15 months in Shoei Full Face Helmets. No problems with headsets or BRP CB/Intercom. Excellent mikes and speakers, clear communications.

I have J&M headsets with OEM intercom system.
No problems at all.
