I realy would like to keep my bride comfortable in any kind of weather. (Maybe we will ryde more this way). Can anyone help please? :helpsmilie:

Hi Lamonster. I was just trying to find your post concerning this new Jacket. I know you said you were trying one out. I was simply interested in your findings. You had mentioned that you were going to report on it. My main question is ,,, is it worth the big bucks? the price is so high that dealers don't realy want to preorder or stock them. The way I see it, if it is waterproof, tuff, (it does include back and elbows padding does it not). Also the black one suposedly reflects heat (from the sun). It sounds as if it should replace a cold weather suit, a rain suit and a "it's too hot" suit. What are your findings please? And thank you for responding.

PS I'm on my way to my dealer tomorow (actualy leaving at 3:00 am. It's a 6 to 7 hour drive for me) to check out my new Limited and since he's giving me a good discount on everything I buy from him, I want to buy all the essentials right from the word GO!

I don't have enough miles on it in all weather conditions to give you an honest opinion. It's the most expensive jacket I've ever owned and I can't say if you could get one just as good more less money but I don't think there are too many that would cost any more than this one. If cost is a factor I would look around.

850 up here in Canada and that's just the jacket !!:yikes::yikes::yikes: Man I would shop around some there are lots of options out there for a lot less money with as many features .

My wife just bought Joe Rocket womens Ballistic series Alter Ego 11 jacket and womens Joe Rocket Ballistic pants. Both are wateproof and have panels to zip off in hot weather , both have waterproof liners that zip out too , they both have armoor too. My wife did not want to spend a fortune on clothing so she figured this is where quality meets price point Check them out at joerocket.ca she bought them in Guelph at Royal Distibuting they have a store in Sudbury too or on the web at royaldistributing.com or check out Canada's Motorcycle canadasmotorcycle.ca. I realize that the Kavalier jacket is top of the line jacket that will be hard to beat. Have fun shopping:ohyea:

Thank you very much everybody for taking the time from your busy schedules to answer my questions. I visited my dealer yesterday. (1,200 kl roundtrip in the same day). I will never do that again in a cage. Next time should be on my "White Steed". Saw the Kavalier jacket but, as you all mentioned, very nice stuff indeed but very expensive. For almost the same price, I can dress myself from head to toe in warm weather, cold weather and also wet weather including boots, gloves and the whole caboodle. And to boot, my bride also,,, (with the discount that he's giving me of course). Marker, we did see some Joerocket apparel but we went with somethig else (I forget te brand just now, and I don't have it here yet. It is apparel that I've never seen before. But sincerely, the best for us). Yesterday was quite an experience for me. Those people at Loiselle Sports are so friendly it's amazing. We feel like family now.

There is something else I want to share!!!

I did not see my white RT but I did see one just the same. When we got there, the dealer asked us to wait outside the building for a few minutes and said "I will drive it out of the garage and around to the front of the building for you guys to have a good look at it in the sunlight" At that time I figured that's a lot of fuss just to look at something. Well,,, what can I say, when he drove that thing around the building, my jaw just fell! What a beautiful piece of machinery! I'm telling you everyone she's something else. Black is beautiful, red is fast, silver is mystical, blue is historic and I'm sure that every other colour has specific caracteristics associated with it but,,, in my own opinion, Pearl White is the classiest and richest by a hundred miles! I could not believe what happened next. People were stopping on the street, shooting cameras right and left, calling their friends on their cell phones to come and see. What a riot! It was really like a hero or a star of some kind had just come home. Man!!! What a feeling!

PS I'm picking mine up in about one week!!! The roads in this part of the country are still too dirty and rough from winter and spring thaw (for ryding or hauling). We are actualy in a severe winter storm warning as I speek,,,
