Before this post, I called the Lamplighter and they were very helpful. They sent a list of sister hotels that are offering the group rate. I was able to secure a room at the Best Western Plus Coach House, which is approximately 1/4 mile down the road. The person I talked to there was also very friendly and helpful. Now comes the hard part, waiting until the end of April to begin our trek west. opcorn:

When I discovered the Lamplighter was sold out I booked a room in another location.

Now that you have posted additional places nearby, I talked with Tammy and she fixed me up by directing me to the Coach House where we are now reserved.

The other one is canceled and we are good to go.

I am so glad to hear that you spoke with Tammy, and now you have reservations at our sister property Best Western Coach house. It is a Plus property, and I am sure that you will find the accommodations to be top notch! That property also has drive up access to your room, which, I know is important.
