• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sat morning, 7:30, having coffee and placating my cat who seems to understand she will be alone for the next two days, until the wife comes back from a family trip.
My Spyder is ready and I am very excited as I have never done a really long trip like Durango's (2,160 miles away from my home town of Boca).
I'll be rolling out at 8:15 to meet Reggy and Steve at the Lake Worth Turnpike's service Plaza for another coffee and to discuss today's route. I still do not know where we are spending the night, and that is just plain exciting :)
We will take some three days to Albuquerque to meet other Spyders and then, on to Dura.
Looking forward to seeing that part of this great country and to meet other fellow ryders.
I wish all of you coming, a safe, enjoyable trip.

We have just arrived in Montgomery, Alabama. We fortunately had an excellent ride today with wonderful weather. Came on the Turnpike all the way to almost Tallahassee and then we took some beautiful back roads into Alabama.
We had a great steak dinner at the Santa Fe Grill in Troy. I was amazed by the quality of their steaks, great service also and very reasonable prices - compared to Boca, anything is reasonable :))
I put in 640 miles today. We will probably do as much tomorrow before we go to sleep somewhere along the road.
Love this adventure.
