There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First link gives the manual and DVD but is for the 2010. 2nd link doesn't really say what year.
Seems like a cool thing to have?
But can you actually get a BUDs yourself? Is that customer purchasable?

I work for a large corporation and years ago use to be a service manager.
I believe it is illegal in the US not to sell required service equipment when asked. Yes they can jack up the price to try and discourage it, but I do believe they have to sell it if asked!
I know this because the company had to go to court when 3rd party service companies sued for the exact same thing. We lost and had to sell the service devices to anyone that asked for it.
