• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Little River Canyon Ride

I went over to N. Georgia to ride and wound up in Alabama... go figure!

The Little River Canyon National Preserve in NE Alabama is the tail of the Appalachian Mountains, running along the top of Lookout Mountain near Ft Payne AL.
Some say it's the nation's longest river running on top of a mountain;
It's part of the Cumberland Plateau, and historically-called "May's Gulf".

The wife and I got out yesterday for her first long (2 hour) ride in two years. Made the loop up through Tennessee on 231 to 64 thru Huntland and down TN 97 to AL 65, then 72 and back up to Hazel Green. We will likely head over to Little River after the next cold snap passes through. Have not been there in a while. Almost completed the break in of the RTL, just 70 miles left.
