• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We are new to the Can-Am Spyder but not new to motorcycling. My wife and I are looking to upgrade from the stock seat (no backrest) to a better two-up seat . She is wanting a very nice backrest. I am also looking for feedback on putting a factory rack on the back. Any comments regarding these upgrades is greatly appreciated!!

Russell Day Long or Laam Custom Motorcyle Seats. I have a Russell, my wife is set up for a ride in appt at Laam on Friday.

On mine (16 F3T), I just replaced the passenger seat with the one for the F3Limited of 2017 and up. The passenger seat is just a bit higher and my wife is more comfortable like that. She have also a better view over my shoulder.

Beside that, for us, the seat is pretty comfortable without going to something else.

And we have the regular passenger back rest from BRP.

Ultimate, Mustang don't require you to send in your seat. Russell Day Long and other custom makers do. IMHO stay away from Corbin. They make a nice seat. BUTT! Quality control can be bad. And Customer service is non existent. A lot of ill fitting seats for Spyder as well as other makes. :gaah: Tom :spyder:
