• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Made 4 skid plates today for RS/GS

Had a buddy come over today and we made 4 of them. Two for us and two for the wife's bikes. He had made a template and worked out great. Made different that Spyder PoPs, but works great and looks good. Will take a picture tomorrow of it. I found a place to make it out of 3/8 inch HDPE. Enough to make 4 skid plates material and shipping was $88.00. Very pleased with the finished product.

Put pictures and info in the DIY threads for the skid plates. If anyone need info I will try and help anyway I can.

Might do this myself ...

... maybe soon.

I have the SpyderPops bumpskid already installed, but, the back of beyond, campside access, pothole ridden, gravel and rock ridden road we did a couple of weeks ago did a real number on it :( --- the Spyder bottomed out at least a half dozen times.

Deb, on the back, was NOT amused !

It for sure did it's job though  (Thank you Spyderpops) and I'll use IT as a template should the need arise to replace it.
