Metallic ticking sound from the left side of the motor

As title says, i got some metallic ticking sound from the left side, around the intake.

I checked oil for Tran and Engien and seems fine.

The sound is not there on idle but coming around 2000rpm.

Any idèe what it is ?

Soon on 1000km service

My 2021 900 ACE has the same noise. It's the intake housing rattling that making the sound. Here's a YouTube video on how to take care of it.

Thats a common rattle, he said he had a ticking sound like a metallic ping, that would be different. Every now and then I would get that pinging sound at start up, especially if its hasnt been ridden in a few days. But thats due to the dry sump system and it taking a few seconds for oil to circulate. I know you said you checked the oil, did you check it within 10 seconds of shut down?

i did, but i got no clue how to know whats ok for the Tran, there is no stick to check, but i saw a good coating on the gears i could see, it is to deep to be able to see to the bottom
