There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Metro Air Force Blaster - Classic

Just wondering if anybody is using one of these air dryers on their Can Am or motorcycles.
Looks like a pretty handy thing to have. It is on sale at Competition Accessories at $214.99.

They also have compact model called the "Sidekick" for about $97.99. Wonder if this will be sufficient to do a good job.

With all the nooks and crannies on your trike, this will cut down clean up time. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Use the smaller one on my bikes. While it leaves streaks on chrome, it makes up for it by removing all the moisture from the nooks and crannies. Would get another one if this one was to die.

Thanks for the response Jerbear.
So would you replace yours with the compact again or go for the Classic (next size up)?

My only misgiving for the bigger unit is the size; bigger takes more storage space. I live in a condo.

Um, no experience with the classic. Perhaps someone else has one and will chime in.

Choices :roflblack: :joke:

I may consider the blaster. I have seen them advertised. Currently I dry the :ani29:'s down with a chamois--but it takes a long time. Since I gave up cigars, I don't have any help passing the tedious time to dry them off. :roflblack:

I use those micro fiber towels to dry mine. they are also nice to carry in a little plastic Zip lock bag to dry off the seat and tings on the road.

We have the 8hp version that we use on our two Spyders and we also use it on our cars.It makes it much easier to dry everything we use it on. It is a little pricey but me and the wife say it was worth it.
Then we finish it off with Honda cleaner, polish.

I got the classic blaster as a gift from the kids one year and love it. It blows filtered warm air in every nook and cranny. Posted lots of times about it here, I think the unit it great and purpose built for the job. You will get lots of comments on using leaf blowers, each to there own.

You can buy a cheap china made spyder look a like for $4k which will get you from A to B or you can real McCoy for a lot more money, the choice, as always is with what you feel more comfortable with.

I bought one on recommendation of folks on a car forum I frequent. Used it 3 times and sent it back. It works but....for the money not all that well and I hate false advertising.

The big one is NOT 8HP. There is simply only about 1.25HP worth of electrical power in a 20A 120V outlet. Anything that advertises more than that is blowing hot air.

I then bought the typhoon air blow gun. It moves more air and does a great job drying the bike, the car or sweeping out the garage:
