• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is in the books!! Had the 600 mile check-up done ..... at 834 miles..... :opps:

They had to do a software update as well. Not sure what it was, but it's something brand new. The service manager said it just came out and I probably didn't even get a notice on it yet---and he's right on that!!!

I did notice that the shifting isn't making as a loud of a "clunk" as it usually does!! That goes for up and down shifting!

On the way home, I managed to run over a piece of metal (rounded off, thank God!!!) in the road!!! Tried to avoid it, but there was no room to move over---Didn't want to end up UNDER the semi next to me.... No damage to the tire that I can see!!!! Whew!!!!! I'd prefer NOT to have to get a new tire at this point....

Glad to hear the servicing and the "tire incident" worked out all right.

It is interesting how a piece of debris is always found when you are next to another vehicle or sandwitched between others and have no choice but to run over it. Murphy's Law at its best. :roflblack:

Yeah, me and Murphy seem to be good friends!!! :roflblack::roflblack:

At least I didn't have squirrel guts on the bottom of it!!! Thought I was going to hit a poor little guy taking my bike out there. He was very small, and dove to the ground when I went over him. No room on the road to avoid him..... :yikes: I got over so he would not get squished by the front tire, yet not get hit by the back tire either. I never heard a thud, and there was no trail behind me......:clap: Probably scared the poo out of him though!!! I bet he stays out of the road for a few days!!!

Checked the bike again today. Tire is just fine!!!!
