• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nelson Rigg CAS-355 Can-Am Spyder Half Cover

scudrunner

RT-S PE# 536
Ok, my day for questions.....
Has anyone looked at the Nelson Rigg CAS-344 Spyder half cover for the RT? I need to get something to cover the seat at least while it is parked. A fitted sheet isn't going to be flattering to the Spyder.

I don't generally cover mine, just put some garbage bags over the seat if it is raining or snowing, but I got the BRP Travel Cover (which was supposed to come with the RT, according to their ads) for this purpose. It fits much better in the rrunk than the Outdoor Cover that they included with the Spyder.

I didn't get the travel cover with mine, I got the outdoor cover. Too much trouble to put on for just a shopping trip. I'm more worried about the sun here in Texas. Summer days in the high 90's (heat index around 115), and UV at 10, it eats up just about everything exposed. Maybe I should just "ride" my air conditioned car!
I guess the travel cover is the way to go. Was hoping to get away with less cost for comparable material.

Ok, what is everyone using for a day cover for their RT's?

This is what I use (BRP Travel Cover) and it has worked in the rain ,heck it was specifically designed for the RT with the fairing
in the lower position. I put a pillow case over the front windshield ,and now that I have the shorteez antennas now so it is even more
simple and fast to put on. I got mine for $93.74 out the door :ohyea:

I use the outdoor cover wherever I go. I can put it on in less than two minutes and put it away in about the same amount of time. I bet if I were really trying I could cut that time in half. It is a very simple cover to use!
