For those of you who might have missed it, last week Garmin officially announced their first model of a new line of Zumo GPS.

Their new 350 seems to be very similar to the existing 660: same screen, a few new goodies, but mostly looses the cell phone bluetooth and mp3 player... For the same price at $700 (including their lifetime map udate option)
It comes with a cradle that provides power to the unit, similar to the 660, but with fewer contact points. It also comes with Ram mounts like other Zumos.

A few weeks ago, this new 300 series was leaked from the FCC site, where photos and a preliminary user manual were available. In this user manual, there were clear instructions on how to pair a cell phone to the unit, so stay tuned for more upcoming models in this 300 series.
There is also a european 340 model, which is loaded with either western or central europe, while the 350 comes with either North America or full Europe coverage.
Just a hint for those shoppers out there....
... 'just hope it is not a repost.
