• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New twist for right side heat problem 2013 RT

Today I removed my CAT for the bypass installation and believe to have discovered the right side heat problem on my 2013. Up to about 5000 miles I did not have any real heat problems then after my 9000 mile maintenance check and BUDS update the heat issue became predominantly worse with every mile. As I removed the CAT today I found the right side exhaust gasket almost burned in two with 10,721 miles. Also I did not find a spring on the left side exhaust connection.

If you have more heat on the right side than before, check for exhaust leak on the right side.

I seem to recall reading that the "Missing" spring; was never there at all...
You may want to se if you can find the threads that discussed this.

I checked the parts manual and it is not listed. Maybe that is where the pipe stretcher is connected when installing the bypass.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

This is interesting. The GS/RS/RSSs are known for burning through their gaskets. The right one goes first also.

Maybe we're seeing a new trend here with the '13 RTs?

Thanks for bringing this to everyones attention. :2thumbs:
