Oil

I know I have bothered y'all a lot since I got my :spyder2:2012 RT S SE Limited but hopefully you will answer this one. You have been so gracious in past ad I truly appreciate it. I wrote couple days ago about whee oils and how much etc. Well I guess I knew I would do but I put just a little too much. It was just over the full mark. I have been watching real close every day. There has been a few drops on the garage floor every day not much maybe a teas spoon or so. I was checking again tonight and the oil is right on the full mark. Is that just the excess running out or do I have a leak? I noticed tonight after a 60 mile run that there was a little oil on the passenger foot rest. Probably would not have noticed it if I wasn't looking for it i was just a little road dirt clinging to the back saddle bag. Sorry to bother you but do I need to go see the dealer or just keep watch of it?:gaah::gaah::gaah:

generally if you overfill the oil it will blow into the airbox and eventually leak out from there if not checked and cleaned. If you have a leak in the amounts mentioned it is coming from somewhere else. Possibly residue on body parts from oil change or poor seal on drain plugs or filter covers. Best pull some plastics and have a look.. Jmo:dontknow:

Usually if you over fill the oil will go into the air box, Its not a leak it's most likely blow bye and then it drips out from the lower right side of the air box, Run your hand under the air box and see if it's wet with oil.... If so remove a little oil [turkey baser].
