When we picked up our ST last fall we decided we had to got NC to ride some of these wonderful roads that we read about. We had a tight schedule due to our conflicting work schedules. We headed down last Wednesday 8/20, in the truck with the Toyhauler & Spyder in tow. We stayed at a woderful small RV park (12 sites) on route 28 close to the Dragon & Cherohala. Beautiful & quite & the owners are the friendliest people you could meet. Teaberry Hill RV park if anyone is interested.
Thursday we rode Cherohala Skyway in the morning on the way to the Dragon. Very low traffic. Rode the Dragon south down to Deals Gap and then 28 back to our trailer. Friday we rode to North Giorgia and rode the Six Gap (figure 8) and on Saturday we rode the 441 through Cherokee Park and worked our way over to the Rattler and then back. Great roads, great time and low traffic the first two days. Saturday there were a lot of tourists.
